" Acorn House has been instrumental in the development of confidence and self esteem in our eldest daughter. The Montessori philosophy was new to us but in fact mirrored our family ethos of developing independence, creating real achievable goals and including our children in all aspects of family life. Inside the house the children work happily on purposeful tasks and there is a real sense of excitement in learning. The teachers are patient and kind and show respect to each child which in turn leads to respect from the children for each other, their work and the adults around them. Our youngest daughter now attends too and being fiercely determined, her need to be completely independent and productive is fulfilled. I can not speak highly enough of this wonderful little school. The girls are gaining practical, social and intellectual skills to last them a lifetime. What better start could you give your children in life?!!"
